RES has secured worldwide recognition for its asset management services with the ISO 55001 certification.
RES, the world’s largest independent renewable energy company, has been awarded the certification by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), a worldwide federation of national standards bodies.
RES already holds the ISO9001 certificate for Quality Management Systems as well as ISO14000 for Environmental Management and ISO45001 for Health and Safety Management.
ISO55001 is the standard associated with asset management, a discipline RES has become world-leading in over its more than 38-year history. The certification will help RES continue to provide added value to clients and strengthen its growing asset management portfolio through enhanced credibility in its services.
The company’s asset management project portfolio totals 1.3GW in the UK & Ireland. Globally, RES supports 6GW of operational assets.
Darren Cook, Asset Management Director at RES, said: “This certificate is something we’ve worked towards for a number of years and is testament to our team’s commitment and expertise in asset management.
“We’ve built fantastic working relationships with clients that have helped bolster our asset management portfolio, and continue to strengthen our skills and knowledge, to be a leading company in asset management services.
“With over 38 years’ experience and expertise, we have built on our offering for clients and are committed to delivering exceptional results. This is demonstrated in the fact we perform, on average, 1% better than industry average.
“We’re very grateful for this recognition and to be one of the only companies of our kind to have gained this certificate.”
RES is active in onshore and offshore wind, solar, energy storage, transmission and distribution. Offering asset management, operations and maintenance and consultancy services, RES operates in ten countries across the world and in its 38-year history has delivered more than 18GW of renewable energy projects.
